Music by The Piano Brothers

Essie Lucille Parker was born in Lincoln Arkansas on June 21, 1919 to Elmer and Bessie Williamson and died January 22, 2014 at  the age of 94.  She married Oather Parker on August 2, 1937.  They made their home in Stilwell, OK at first but later moved to Thomas, OK where they raised 5 children.  Once the children were raised, Oather and Essie moved to Greenfield, OK.  She spent her life being a strong family advocate, always being supportive to the needs of those around her and never expecting anything in return.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother whose unconditional love and relentless devotion to her family will be missed.  It was impossible to know her without becoming a better person through her influence of wisdom and solid values.

She is survived by her parents, sister Avo Swafford of Fayetteville Arkansas, daughters Arlene Higgins of Watonga and Yvonne Garcia and her husband Ted of Watonga, 14 grandchildren, 41 great grand children, and 13 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Oather Parker, sister Juanita Raleigh, sons Lacy Parker and Anthony (Bubby) Parker, daughter Loretta Rachwal, son in law Stewart Higgins, and grandchildren Mark Higgins, Charles Parker, Steven Park, and Nancy Bishop.

Services were Saturday, Jan 25 at Watonga Christian Church. Burial was at East Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
